The Opportunity
As a member of the PFF Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Sales will play a significant role in building and managing our direct selling teams. The performance of this team is essential to achieving PFF’s growth and financial objectives, and is crucial to delivering on PFF’s vision.
This newly created position is a key part of PFF’s growth strategy. You will be suited for this role if you have a track record of leading teams through rapid growth and transformation. You should consistently prioritize the customer's needs, delivering outstanding quality and value while ensuring PFF’s growth. Equally important will be to bring a growth mindset to your work- constant improvement, individual and team development will be a recurring theme. The Role
- Develop new sales targets across the sales segments and assigned geographies
- Develop a high performing sales organization through the formulation of a sales methodology and consistency of approach; this will include the creation and execution of territory and / or channel sales plans; adherence to record keeping in proper documentation, and thoughtful execution of live opportunities inside each reps' pipeline
- Hire new reps and leaders, while developing existing and emerging sales managers as teams expand and require additional management structures
- Form your team with an appropriate and diverse mix of styles, perspectives, and experience; inspire and develop both new and experienced team members within a continuous performance improvement environment
- Deep knowledge of sales KPIs and unit economics, and how to use them to drive preferred outcomes for PFF
- Engage in key direct sales with your reps for the most strategic client relationships - leading by example
- Align with customers on their business strategies via a customer success mindset
- Offer a thoughtful and consultative approach to develop talent and deliver value to new clients through the sales and launch process.
- Lead through growth and change; prioritize the client experience while balancing PFF’s strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with other members of the Leadership and Executive teams
- Develop and support the PFF story for clients, instilling passion in your team to support the vision of PFF and the sales team's strategy. You will be a custodian and ambassador for the PFF brand and you must ensure it is enhanced through all sales activities
- Directly handle the evaluation of new revenue opportunities, execution of the GTM roadmap, and optimization of existing processes
- Collaborate with Finance to build out robust commission structures for PFF's sales team
The Skills Needed
- Proven success in a range of different consumer and commercial environments; ideally some experience with Robotics and / or similar premium-priced goods
- 10+ years experience structuring, managing, and leading B2B or B2B2C sales teams with at least 5 years leading a high performing team
- Ability to create reliable forecasting and predictable revenue across the full range of deal sizes and complexities
- Experience running territory or channel management and planning in an evolving environment
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to deliver the highest quality service while balancing growth objectives
- Experience leveraging a CRM and other technology systems, including providing guidance on the development roadmap for sales tools
- Strong cross-functional management experience with the proven ability to gain support and commitment of multiple stakeholders
- Experience with DTC sales, preferred
- Local Candidate preferred but will consider exceptional remote candidates
