The VP of Growth will report to the Chief Development Officer. He/She will be responsible for driving sales and executing on Cricket’s sales strategy. The VP of Growth will need to communicate effectively with all areas of the business, including internal and external stakeholders and clearly articulate Cricket’s value proposition. He/She will develop and nurture relationships within the Executive and VP Level within both the payer and provider markets and be responsible for expanding Cricket’s footprint by exceeding sales quotas and delivering on our vision to improve patient care. This is a unique opportunity to shape Cricket Health’s trajectory at a pivotal stage in our growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execution of Cricket’s sales and business development strategy
  • Responsible for building and managing a qualified robust pipeline and driving it to completion
  • Lead every aspect of our commercial cycle: sourcing and developing leads, driving customers/partners to close and ongoing management of relationships with customers
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives/quotas; maintain existing business while creating new business relationships
  • Understand Cricket Health’s products and how to best position their value to suit each customer’s specific needs, acting as a trusted advisor and training teams accordingly
  • Responsible for gaining the confidence and trust of C- level executives within the payer and provider markets
  • Research prospects, represent Cricket Health at conferences
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to customers in person and via phone/video conference

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of sales experience 
  • Demonstrated success developing and nurturing C-Level and VP-Level relationships 
  • Experience selling to payers and health systems
  • Proven success selling a technology enabled service
  • Experience selling risk-based contracts
  • Proven track record of building strong customer relationships and closing business
  • Experience understanding and navigating a complex sale with the ability to scale and a knowledge of negotiating sophisticated contracts that are in the best interest of the business
  • Passion for our mission and improving healthcare
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Passionate about the intersection of technology and healthcare
  • Willingness to travel (~50%)
