Who you are

You are a Strategic Account Manager who excels in planning and aligning with both internal and external stakeholders and uses analytics to deliver results for your partners. You are a champion for your customers, but balance that with the management of internal stakeholders, operating in the best interest of the business. You are also an obsessively organized planner, known across teams, partners, and agencies. You instill trust and operate with integrity. This also means that you are a pro at communicating effectively and consistently meet deadlines by setting accurate expectations for multiple projects. Process- oriented, you critique existing processes and work to make them better. You always have a well-thought out plan and strategy, but are nimble and agile, comfortable with consistently iterating to test new ideas. 

You have a proven track record of managing external stakeholders and have 3+ years account management experience. We’d be super impressed if you have brand-side or marketplace experience, as well as direct analytics experience.

What the role is

In the Strategic Partnerships Account Manager role, you will be an integral part of the Strategic Partnerships team, responsible for increasing support to our existing partnerships and forging new relationships through program pitching and execution. 

On a day-to-day basis you will work directly with the biggest brands within the BevAlc industry, making recommendations to improve on-platform performance and reporting back results from existing programming. 

You’ll also be responsible for improving processes across cross-functional teams (CRM, Brand, Supplier Operations, Analytics) to exceed expectations of the partnerships and Drizly. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to streamline workflows to deliver upon programming on time, efficiently, and in a way that allows the team to spend more time thinking critically and strategically about the program as a whole, about how the tactics ladder up to the results, and leverage data to drive the next recommendation. 

The person in this role will change how we do things today and we’ll be all the better for it. This role is supporting one of Drizly’s most strategic priorities and will have a direct impact on revenue. 

In this role you will:

  • Manage the day to day relationship with the biggest brands in the BevAlc industry
  • Create programming for partners, with a focus on continued upsell, and execution from program development to reporting back the results of campaigns 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute agreed upon programs, and building and improving upon processes across teams 
  • Leverage your understanding of supplier partners in team settings and broader team discussion and use your expertise as a lens in discussion and strategic planning
  • Build trusting relationships with supplier partners through communication (email, phone, in-person/video) in order to drive mutual goals forward (suppliers and Drizly)
