You have a proven track record of success and 4-6 years working in a fast-paced environment as an account manager, ideally at an agency, with a marketplace business model, or alcohol supplier.

What the role is

In this Strategic Partnerships Account Manager role, you will be an integral part of the Strategic Partnerships team, responsible for supporting existing partners through ad hoc and ongoing programming, executing against program elements by liaising with other departments at Drizly, creating proposals and plans with guidance from Sr. Account Managers and the Director of Strategic Partnerships, communicating with partners through email, status calls, and in-person meetings, and keeping track of past, present, and future activations. You will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships to support team and company goals of driving revenue and company growth.

This role allows you to create impactful relationships with the leading alcohol suppliers in the world, build experiences for current and future Drizly consumers, and drive the overall Drizly business through unique methods. You will be encouraged to think creatively about solutions to hit our goals, expected to challenge the status quo, and given the chance to help build a growing team. Strategic Partnerships is a company priority in 2020, so you will be a part of shaping the future of Drizly. In this role, you will be responsible for finding and executing against ways to build alcohol eCommerce for the benefit of Drizly and our partners.

In this role you will:

  • Manage and execute against ad hoc and evergreen programs with strategic partners, including some of the largest alcohol brands in the world 
  • Work with the brand team, CRM team, growth marketing team, category management team, and analytics team to support partner activations
  • Create and maintain processes to increase efficiencies across the Strategic Partnerships team
  • Communicate with partners effectively and professionally
  • Participate in weekly / bi-weekly / monthly status calls and quarterly business reviews 
  • Help prepare for these meetings and organize and manage follow-ups afterward
  • Create relationships with key supplier partners, agency teams, and brand teams
