What you'll do

• Lead a team of Solutions Engineers within a geographical sales region
• Demonstrate expertise in the product with complete knowledge of the technologies and the application
• Mastery in identifying the prospect’s business challenges and whether to position the value of the Toast platform and/or the partner ecosystem as a solution, be consultative with direct reports and nurture these skills within the team
• Own team data and communicate with internal teams on a regular cadence. SETL/M owns data pertaining to engagement trends, feature gaps/integration, team efficacy, high visibility deals, etc., synthesizes this into ‘report cards’, and reviews with internal teams. 
• Ability to frequently and clearly communicate trends in team engagement within sales districts and regions with regional enablement resources 
• Work closely with Sales Enablement regionally to provide training and product expertise
• Attend trade shows and other events as a Toast brand ambassador
• Owns scaling regional SE pod with input from peers. SETL/M is the primary point of contact for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and ramping new SE’s joining their pod. 

Do you have the right ingredients?

• 3+ years hospitality or related industry experience required
• Management experience a plus
• Ability to handle complex customer communications fluently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Detail oriented and possess strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• POS knowledge required or equivalent understanding of restaurant operations
• Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
