Solution Consultant
About the Job
As a Solution Consultant, your primary responsibilities will be to engage directly with both existing and potential customers and drive the appropriate conversations to deeply understand the clients’ business strategy and design a solution that uses our platform & products to help our clients realize their goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead during the sales cycle, including RFP and RFI support, solution design, Statement of Work preparation and estimation.
- Design overall solutions, including the development of workflow concepts, appropriate documentation, and presentation of technical material to our customers.
- Train sales and AM teams on new product and technical functionality and contribute to related enablement materials and programs
- Set up for enterprise accounts and implement specific settings and workflows as appropriate
- Ensure that solution design is well documented and understood by account managers and the product and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition post-sale.
- Liaise with the product & account management teams where necessary to ensure that the solution is implemented correctly and meets the agreed upon specifications.
- Lead customized demos and account walkthroughs while highlighting 3Play’s differentiated platform areas
Position Requirements
- 3+ years of related work experience in a technology company.
- Work experience should involve pre-sales support, technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management.
- Experience consulting with clients on technology implementation and system integration projects.
- Direct experience with enterprise SaaS technology, SOA, REST-style APIs, ETL and handling data/content exchange with video platforms and content management systems.
- Direct experience with at least one or more of the following .NET, SQL Server, MongoDB, NodeJS, React and Bootstrap.
- A natural problem solver with a love for technology that can work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience in a start-up technology company is an asset.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or other technology-based is recommended.
