Position Summary:

As a Solution Consultant in the Professional Services team at SHYFT, you will work as part of a team configuring, supporting and enhancing SHYFT products to customers. The Professional Services team's focus is to configure solutions that are efficient, scalable and automated for our customers and ensuring successful ongoing operations once the solution is configured. The team configures customer solutions on time, on budget, and in scope, builds & continuously grows strong customer relationships, and guides customers through solution enhancements - all with a focus on driving operational efficiency and adding value to the customer. The Professional Services team is the consistent face of SHYFT to our customers and it is critical that the team delivers an amazing customer experience.

We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about Customers and understand the challenges facing life sciences organizations. Our PS team members are driven, collaborative, embrace challenges, creative thinkers, and grounded in delivering the best value for the customer while not losing site of the importance of meeting internal metrics. Our team is passionate about a common goal of delivering the right drug to the right patients at the right time.

This role is located in Boston, MA and reports into the Engagement Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Individual contributor for SHYFT Professional Services team

  • Responsibilities include process analysis, data mappings, solution QA (functional, operational, regression), test data creation, and documentation (including JIRA tickets creation, functional requirements and system requirements).

  • Manage assigned work to project timelines. Escalate to the team when deliverables are in jeopardy.

  • Be a proactive member of the team. Assist team members when possible. Identify ways to improve methodology, processes, and the customer solution.

  • Learn the methodology, ongoing operations, project and customer management skills 

  • Gain subject matter expertise in the Life Sciences industry and the SHYFT products

Position Requirements:

  • BS/BA preferably in a quantitative field of study. Internship and/or professional work experience, especially in consulting, analytic or technical setting, is a plus.

  • Experience with Agile / Lean and SQL is a plus

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Eager to learn

  • Motivated self-starter and ability to thrive in a high-growth and fast-paced work environment

  • Detailed oriented and take ownership attitude

  • High-energy team player with strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask

  • Data integration and analytics experience are desirable. 

  • Knowledge of and software tools like JIRA/ database software is a plus.
