About the Role: 

The Google Cloud Business Development team leads the way in creating next generation solutions delivering both business & security value.  This team will develop deep relationships across Google Cloud. The team will be viewed as security subject matter experts as they identify both integrated and bundled solutions for revenue generation. This team needs to glue technology opportunity with repeatable business value, revenue generation. The team will be staffed with veterans of the security industry who understand Customer problems relating to cyber security. Our solutions need to be engineered for security, reliability and scalability, running the full stack from cloud workload infrastructure to applications to devices. Our team will provide solutions to help our joint customers — developers, small and large businesses, educational institutions and government agencies — see the benefits of using technology securly. As part of this entrepreneurial team, in this rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in understanding the complex needs of our multi layer customer engagement and help shape the future of our business.

As a Solutions Architect with a focus on Google Cloud Applications, Services, and Infrastructure, you will help end customers with securing their data and technology environment with the best cyber security technology on the market against advanced threats. Your contribution will be across verticals and your impact will be felt across the business spectrum. You should be comfortable with speaking up about security value and how it can be realized in helping organizations defend themselves. 

As a member of this team, you will communicate across our businesses with each functional area to motivate and ensure their participation in our joint success. You will explore and experiment with our suite of products and third party applications to understand how the broader ecosystem can interoperate.

Responsibilities: 

• Facilitate technical discussions with customers, partners, and Googlers (roughly 75% of time) as needed through all phases of our engagement.
• Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise security technology, and promote Cybereason within Google Cloud.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, complex solutions, and presentations adapted to technical, business, and executive partners.
• Provide customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams to help define product direction.
• Work as part of a broader Google Business Development team to contribute technical assets, prioritize and shape solution direction, while impacting top line business and bookings.

Qualifications

• BSCS or equivalent and 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales/Systems Engineer or Systems Integrator
• 4+ years of technical hands-on experience with Application Security/Endpoint Security
• 4+ years of experience in a customer facing role; preferably working in a start-up and vendor environment
• Solid grasp of web applications, web protocols, security and Internet environments
• Advanced knowledge of web threats and cybercrime
• Experience with common enterprise desktop software deployment methodologies
• Experience installing, configuring and integrating a complex Security environment
• Experience understanding malware, exploits, operating system structure and behavior
• Demonstrable experience in securing these environments
• Deep understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting
• Demonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems (prior Active Directory/LDAP experience desirable)
• Working knowledge of Endpoint Prevention, SIEM, vulnerability management tools, SOC, firewalls, and other security technologies both from a technology and a business driver standpoint
• Experience with Incident Response; both IR tools and IR workflow process
• Experience selling, demonstrating, installing, and solving network infrastructure security product
• Experience understanding threat intelligence and threat hunting
• Scripting experience with a focus on Python and PowerShell is a plus
• Knowledge of Google Cloud products sold to enterprise Customers (i.e. Big Query, Workspace)
