Job Description:
The primary functions of a Small Business Sales Manager (SB SM) is to motivate and enable our Small Business Account Executives (SB AE) to close T0 - T1 companies at a high velocity. FareHarbor defines a ‘small business’ as an operator that is expected to make under $400k annually in online sales for their experiences. These businesses are often part-time, startups, or well-established smaller operators. The Small Business (SB) Team takes on a more consultative role, suggesting industry leading best practices for these prospective clients. Making their lives easier will become a regular occurrence as you provide them solutions to save time, save money, and grow their business.
The SB SM will provide tight oversight, hands-on support, pipeline monitoring, and eliminate errors in the “potential” to “live” process. This role requires someone who is high energy, detailed, and able to use metrics to motivate individuals.
Job Responsibilities:
Directly manage Small Business outbound sales.
Develop a professional and driven team culture that is focused on winning the market from a client count perspective.
Set SB AE quotas and ensure incentives align with the team goals.
Track metrics and provide SB AEs feedback on areas in need of improvement.
Identify and remedy sales knowledge skill gaps.
Motivate the team through games and competitions.
Interview potential SB AEs.
Run weekly meeting to outline each week’s pipeline and goals.
Audit onboards for quality and ensure companies are being onboarded for conversions and minimal support use.
Work with Sales Operations to define lead assignment and distribution. Provide extra oversight of close.io and overall worked lead pool.
Execute performance check ins and identify SB AEs that should be elevated to mid market sales.
Train SB AEs on specific sales tactics: outreach, closing, presentations, lead qualification, amongst others.
Work with Director of North American Sales to execute market strategy and hit sales goals.
Requirements:
1+ years sales experience at high velocity software sales environment.
High attention to detail and metrics.
Proven track record leading teams and cross-functional projects.
Knowledge of SaaS software & CRM experience.
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Undergraduate College Degree (4 years)
Proven ability to stay organized and prioritize workload
Excellent time management skills
Well-spoken and well written
Comfortable suggesting change
Able to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
