Who you are


You’re excited to tell us about your Sales Planning experience that includes Proposal Creation and Inventory / Yield Management. You can point to your successes because you are very comfortable planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with previous organizational goals. You are resilient and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with an ability to handle projects independently, as well as part of a team. 


You love to combine data analytics and Client feedback to provide proposal ideas and inventory solutions that best meet your clients’ expectations and proposal objectives. Of course you do this while maintaining pricing integrity and inventory package strategy. You have a proven track record of success activating your strategic plan with 3-5 years of prior experience managing brand’s digital advertising strategies and buying activities. 



What the role is


As our first Senior Sales Planner, this highly impactful role will help organize, plan, price and effectively package our advertising proposals that our Account Managers (AMs) sell to Suppliers. The functional expertise and the on-going focus on inventory management by a Sr Sales Planner will lead to better revenue outcomes, allowing our team to maximize the types of opportunities we package and offer to our Supplier Partner.


You will be critical to set the foundation for process, inventory management and the future outlook of how we scale our ad inventory. You will create sales proposals off quarterly cycles to drive material ad revenue from suppliers, deliver ad sales proposals within RFP delivery deadlines, as well as create process & launch solutions to centralize & monitor inventory management across all available placements. Your collaboration and impact will cross various Drizly teams like BI, Finance, & Marketing as well as external suppliers & brands.


Given the demands of our ad partners and the number of internal stakeholders that this individual will need to work with, you will need to work quickly to identify, prioritize and plan against the highest impact opportunities that will deliver against our Ad Partners goals. This often will require not only being resilient and pushing the boundaries with internal teams to “think outside of the box" on ad monetization opportunities that we can package for our clients, but ensuring we are holding those partners accountable in delivering against those commitments that have promised to our partners.

In this role you will:

  • Leverage Yield Management to track, monitor and use to inform sales packages (e.g. AirTable, Brand, Sales Force, NetSuite, etc.) 
  • Prepare and revise Drizly quarterly, Supplier RFPs and ad hoc sales plans that enhance the use of inventory across the portfolio while fulfilling agency/ad partner requirements
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with Agency Partnerships, Client Partnerships, the Account Manager and Marketing in the creation of proactive and strategic proposals
  • Oversee yield management, ensuring Drizly is effectively monetizing all available impressions

For Colorado-based roles: The salary/hourly rate range for this role is $86,500 per year - $101,800 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Drizly's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, commissions, & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
