As the Senior Manager, Sales Systems you will have business ownership over TripAdvisor's sales organizations’ use of Salesforce.com and other sales systems. You will be critical in ensuring our sales teams have the best processes in place to execute at a higher level. We will rely on you to make sure we’re maximizing efficiencies and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of Salesforce.com, based on our various user stories and user group feedback. The Senior Manager will have excellent business acumen and strong communication skills, as you’ll interface daily across our sales, marketing, engineering, accounting, and customer service departments. You be will be the “go to” for key stakeholders – driving adoption, translating business needs, documenting requirements, creating training materials, and more.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage changes to Salesforce.com
  • Proactively seek out and identify needed system and process changes across multiple internal business organizations
  • Work with other Power Users to modify the system to increase benefits and usability
  • Manage all processes that impact or relate to salesforce.com, and manage new releases of SFDC
  • Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns, and other salesforce.com objects and functions, including creating custom objects when necessary
  • Provide sales and financial data to company executives as necessary
  • Maintain system security and integrity, with regard to all user information - this includes updates; adding/removing licenses; reassigning profile information; designing, creating and maintaining roles and hierarchies; monitoring usage/storage
  • Oversee the process to prioritize internal tickets related to salesforce.com issues, bug escalations, and feature requests
  • Manage UAT testing of new releases, including enhancements and bug fixes
  • Data quality, migration, and maintenance
  • Assist with migration from older systems/processes into salesforce.com
  • Monitor all leads, opportunities, accounts, and contacts as appropriate
  • Monitor and improve data quality - heavy emphasis on ensuring data quality
  • User assistance, training, adoption, and satisfaction
  • Create and provide trainings to existing or new users
  • Expand use of Salesforce.com - attend planning meetings, assist with technology integrations
  • Bonus points for an SF Admin that will leverage their analytical skills and market insights to create actionable sales strategies and ongoing forecasting / attainment reports

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • 7+ years of Sales systems administration and process management
  • In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Salesforce.com, and experience successfully expanding on those capabilities through customizations and integration with external systems
  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality
  • Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions
  • Strong problem solving skills, data and software applications
  • You will apply strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to provide insights to non-technical audiences
  • You have relentlessly high standards, and are never satisfied with the status quo. You will drive your own career progression.
  • Professional maturity required along with great people and relationship skills.

Bonus Points if you:

  • Have experience with Zuora, ORMB, and ExactTarget
  • Have experience building sales territories
  • Have experience working for B2B SaaS company
  • Have working knowledge of SQL and other programming languages
