Senior Manager, Sales Training and Performance
As the Senior Manager of Sales Training & Performance, you will be on the front lines of Pioneering new sales strategies by owning the entire sales process while leading a team of talented and driven program managers. This person must be incredibly curious and consistently gather accurate, insightful sales data that will help inform clear data-driven business decisions. You will need to interpret data and ask questions to help diagnose deficiencies and collaborate to build strategies for the business to drive more efficiency and productivity within the sales organization. Hypotheses from the data that are successfully tested and proven, will be scaled across the organization and tracked to measure performance improvements and achieving the desired results. This person must also be highly collaborative and organize with other business intelligence stakeholders to provide consistent, aligned information and clarity to leadership throughout the business.
This person will also lead a team of sales enablement and sales process program managers that will cover Product Training, Product Launches, Sales Playbook, Sales Process Improvement, Sales Skill Development, Sales Manager Coaching, and Sales Onboarding. As a leader, you will consistently invest in the development of your team while coaching and providing constructive feedback on focused and measurable actions that can be taken with each program. You will also embody the CarGurus leadership principles of creating a shared purpose, inspiring ownership, and accountability, open communication, and creating an environment of respect and trust.
Sales Process Functions:
- Curate sales playbooks
- Lead to cash process improvement I.E (Reduce time to sale, increase deal size & pipeline management)
- Manage, build & govern internal rules of engagement
- Connect and map customer happiness (System & Workflows, end to end)
- Optimizing sales journey by increasing workflow interactions across multiple touch points
- Ongoing process efficiencies (sales & technical collaboration)
Sales & Product Enablement Functions:
- Optimization of technology resources (sales tools and CRM)
- Content development (sales communication)
- Talent management (on-boarding, performance analysis, enablement, and coaching)
- New hire and sales trainings (product & process)
- Sales productivity analysis
