Sales Training Specialist
Job Brief:
We are looking for a talented Sales Training Specialist to join our fast growing Klaviyo Sales organization! As a member of the Sales Enablement team, this individual will partner with the Sales Enablement Manager to help create comprehensive training materials and expand the ever evolving training programs for the Sales Team. This includes: product training, sales enablement, new hire onboarding, management training etc. This role will be instrumental in driving the overall learning experience for the Sales organization. This individual will enhance the competencies of our sales team and decrease ramp time by constructing training programs for each role in the sales org. This individual will be responsible for assisting the training team lead in performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum to the sales organization as well as helping to keep sales assets organized on the company’s wiki.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with the training manager to determine training needs
Help manage the scheduling of training sessions
Help maintain up to date sales enablement assets, documents and the Sales Wiki page
Conduct workshops or individual training sessions as determined by Sales leadership or the training manager
Prepare training materials such as facilitator guides, job aids, 1-pagers and assets
Prepare new sales representatives by conducting orientation to the Klaviyo sales process
Translate needs requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step in their Klaviyo career path
Acclimate new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions
Evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
and updates as needed
Stay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development
Coordinate or perform administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Monitor sales objectives and results
Collect feedback from trainees and managers about training courses
Report on impact of individual training programs to the training manager (e.g. sales achieved)
Requirements:
Proven experience in designing multiple training courses and assets
Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
Proven ability to master the full training cycle
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals
Teaching and facilitation skills
Ability to determine training objectives
Adequate knowledge of Confluence
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
Sound organizational skills
Comfortable with change and a fast paced work environment
Experience writing learning objectives and creating participant and facilitator guides
Passion and commitment for the field of Learning & Development
Detail oriented and organized
Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
