Thought Industries’ Field Operations team is looking for a Sales Training and Enablement Manager to support our rapidly growing Sales, BDR and Customer Success teams. As a critical member of the Field Operations team, you will report to the Director of Field Operations but work cross-functionally with our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services leaders to identify and execute improvements to training, processes, and strategy.
This role requires a passion for developing client facing talent and building enablement programs. You will build a relationship with every member of our go-to-market organization to uncover opportunities for improvement and deliver the skills, tools, and assets the team needs to close new prospects and expand our existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of sales, business development, customer success and professional services skill sets, enablement content, sales communications, and project management.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the planning, design, development, and delivery of Thought Industries’ training and enablement programs to enhance the performance of our Sales, BDR, and CS teams
- Conduct regular group and 1-1 training with our go-to-market team members
- Collaborate with our go-to-market leaders to optimize our training and enablement strategy for our product and target markets
- Review the performance of our Sales and CS representatives and managers to understand skill gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Build/implement the processes and tools needed to support our training and enablement strategy
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training and enablement initiatives
- Provide insights and recommendations for sales process improvement to the go-to-market leadership team
- Develop and deliver content for Sales Kickoff and other Sales events
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years’ professional experience in B2B SaaS sales training/enablement required, including experience in a high-growth environment
- SaaS/B2B sales experience preferred, with proven success meeting objectives
- Desire to build a training program from the ground up with a high degree of ownership
- Deep passion for sales and coaching
- Engaging presenter with strong interpersonal skills - ability to command the room during training activities
- Comfortable operating with limited oversight
Key Skills:
- Technical savvy. Proficiency in relevant technology including but not limited to Salesforce, Gainsight, Hubspot, and Outreach
- Experience implementing sales enablement tools a plus
- Instructional Design experience a plus
