Sales Strategy and Operations Analyst

As a Sales Strategy and Operations Analyst, you will be part of the Commissions and Planning organization. You will be passionate about coordinating commissions administration, analysis, commission process efficiency, and more. You will support the continued evolution of our sales go-to-market strategy. Success in this role requires an analytical demeanor, intellectual curiosity, self-direction, and a dedicated work ethic. The ideal candidate will have experience in a results-oriented, fast-growing company, and has experience with reporting aggregation from multiple data sources.
What you’ll do:
- Act as a key leader in driving go-to-market strategy, product integration, and planning
- Lead quarterly and monthly territory structuring around team alignment and equity
- Coordinate and prioritize management directives to develop global sales teams
- Execute revenue, market, pipeline analyses across teams for senior management
- Be a trusted liaison with sales teams, FP&A, and other functional teams to represent Commissions and Planning in all interactions
- Proactively anticipate new processes/systems trends for sales teams that can drive productivity, efficiency, and create new ways to measure and grow the business
- Manage dependencies and timeline across multiple projects to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Demonstrate databases, salesforce, and tools to support and structure initiatives
- Identify and drive the continued improvement, automation, and scale of reporting and intelligence for sales
- Own the exploration and migration of data to tools and platforms for enhanced
Who you are:
- 3-5 Years of demonstrated ability in sales strategy, operations, planning, and/or project management as well as similar strategic fields
- Proven SFDC and Database experience and sophisticated Excel skills are critical (macros, VBA scripts, pivot tables)
- Experience in SaaS/MRR business model is preferred
- Relentlessly passionate about incremental delivery, which is a staple of CarGurus culture
- A visible communicator who is open, honest, and collaborative
- High energy great teammate and creative problem solver, with a passion for identifying inefficiencies and closing the gaps
- Driven self-starter, who is accountable for their work, and proud to take ownership of processes created
- Hardworking about developing a career in a growing technology company skillset
