As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will work closely with our sales team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to support the sales team in achieving their goals and day to day processes. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day sales operations and make recommendations to the improvement of the sales process, including but not limited to Salesforce.com.   This requires managing a set of business activities and processes, including managing sales data and analytics, creating and validating process flows, assisting in commission management, and aligning opportunity sales strategy.  You will evaluate the general health of the sales process in the regions you support to help the sales organization run effectively and efficiently.  You will evaluate and organize data to determine process and business related improvements and provide standardized reporting to support the business.

What you will do

  • Support the Director of Sales Operations to create and develop mechanisms to improve sales operation efficiency
  • Drive improvement on reporting metrics and analytics related to sales activities, pipeline, and performance
  • Create and distribute sales reports, dashboards, and intelligence to sales leadership and other cross functional departments
  • Advocate ad-hoc reporting of sales reports for sales personnel and leadership
  • Day to day support of field sales team that includes reinforcing best practices, problem solving and resolution of issues
  • Assist with the management, organization, optimization of sales territories, accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities
  • Improve processes to drive greater sales efficiency
  • Be the subject-matter experience for advanced level Salesforce.com (CRM) support including CPQ
  • Handle various sales applications and drive user engagement
  • Facilitate sales onboarding & new hire setup in sales applications
  • Provide training and create enablement materials for users as new Sales applications are deployed
  • Drive specific projects from start to finish, representing the interests of Sales Leadership and Operations as subject matter expert

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Salesforce.com Administrator Certification or equivalent work proven experience (minimum 2 years)
  • 2+ experience in advanced Excel modelling skills including vlookups and pivot tables
  • Salesforce.com enhancement experience preferred (specifically, setting up reporting and workflow communication functionality, creating data fields for data management and setting up data feeds out).
  • Salesforce.com CPQ experience preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in business, B2B enterprise sales or sales operations preferred
  • Experience with forecasting and opportunity management as well as analytics in Clari
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter for ambiguous tasks in fast pace work environment
  • Experience in task prioritization under pressure from tight timeline
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
