About The Sales Development Representative Position

Honeycommb is looking for a self-motivated, scrappy, hungry junior to mid-level sales person who would be excited to sell our platform into a number of markets within our horizontal scope. This position is a great opportunity for a sales person who’s looking to grow by owing strategy, execution, and outcomes. You’ll get very close to product and marketing and your leading insights will inform the strategy of the entire business.

Position Details

  • 100% Remote
  • US resident & citizen
  • Boston-based HQ (EST)
  • Reports to Head of Growth
  • 1 week of quarterly travel (on-hold due to COVID)
  • 6 Month trial period
  • Base + commission compensation package

  • Constantly learns and adjust tactics relative to success
  • Can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
  • Can easily context switch and adjust to strategic changes without a problem
  • Is a highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
  • Has a track record of KPI focused results
  • Has some experience formulating and presenting deals
  • Has SaaS sales experience (a plus)
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM Sales Professional (a plus)

Position Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and drive the Honeycommb overall sales strategy 
  • Create and execute strategies to attack specific markets to generate new sales
  • Qualify marketing leads as sales opportunities against product market fit
  • Nurture leads to close with creative, effective tactics 
  • Hold meetings, including full product demos, with qualified leads
  • Outreach to prospects through cold calls, emails and other creative solutions 
  • Daily focus on KPIs and report results to the leadership team
  • Communicate with product and success teams on client needs and market learnings
