edX seeks a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our edX for Business team. edX for Business is dedicated to bringing the edX platform to learners at work. Leverage your brain power while you sell into Fortune 1,000 companies in search of quality alternatives to educating their workforces. Responsibilities
- Leverage the tech stack of sales outreach platforms in collaboration with senior sales people to generate meetings with prospects who meet the ideal customer profile
- Hit (and eventually exceed) your monthly quota
- Effectively qualify inbound leads from the higher education and eventually corporate sectors
- Become an industry expert within the SaaS and EdTech space
Requirements
- Fluent in the Spanish language
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development/customer facing position
- Eager to build a career in Sales
- Ambitious and driven to exceed goals
- Experience in a SaaS environment is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
