Position Summary:
This individual will partner with Sales Executives to help sell athenahealth’s cloud based solutions. S/he will partner with a specific team of Sales Executives within an assigned territory and will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities and developing outreach strategies to bring prospects into market via various outlets.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
70% Outreach Responsibilities
30% Sales Operations
- Produce accurate forecasts to help Sales Executives achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual quota
- Consistently track all outreach in Salesforce
- Leverage internal resources to generate new leads
- Attend industry events and dinner seminars

- Articulate athena’s products and value to potential prospects via various outlets, including phone, online and in-person
- Develop territory strategy to penetrate market
- Leverage existing marketing programs, such as events and webinars, to engage potential prospects
- Develop and implement new and creative outreach strategies
- Ensure quality of opportunities and leads so they become forecasted in pipeline
- Share market feedback with Sales Executives
30% Sales Operations
