Sales Development Representative (French Speaking)

CarGurus is looking for a results-driven Sales Development Representative to assist in increasing the advertising dealer base on our site in Quebec and to work with our Account Executives to improve our market share of subscribed listing dealers. This candidate will be required to speak French fluently and aid in the continued development in our bi-lingual content to best serve the market. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude, the ability to multi-task in a rapidly-changing working environment, strong communication skills, and be proficient at regularly attaining quotas by adhering to a systematic and repeatable lead development process.
This role will entail selling CarGurus newest advertising products (remotely from Cambridge, MA) and services to automotive dealerships across Canada. The Sales Development Representative must be strong at presenting CarGurus offerings and benefits, primarily over the phone and also via email. At times, travel up to Canada will be required, so it’s a plus that someone has experience working with clients in a face-to-face setting.
CarGurus dealers have various concerns and questions about CarGurus so candidates will need to also wear a customer service hat and be able to listen and respond to dealers and solve their issues within a reasonable amount of time. In this role, candidates must also be comfortable conveying issues to the rest of the CarGurus organization
What You'll Do:
- Use Salesforce, Google, and other resources; uncover new prospects and convert these dealerships into advertisers on CarGurus
- Ensure that each new prospect is engaged and fully understands the benefits of the values we provide
- Develop business relationships and create new sales opportunities for the Account Executives
- Demonstrate persistence, tenacity, and the ability to overcome obstacles and handle objections
- Develop and consistently meet or exceed all assigned quotas and key performance metrics
- Log all sales activity completely and accurately in Salesforce
Who You Are:
- Fluent in French
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years selling and/or sales development experience
- Strong prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to stay focused on task and follow directions precisely
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with Salesforce.com experience a plus
