Sales, Client Development Director- Northeast

 

Kyruus was founded by a team of physicians and technologists who saw an opportunity to leverage data to help health systems match patients with providers more precisely and reduce barriers to access. Far too many people have experienced the "Patient Access Paradox": patients are told to wait weeks, if not months, to see a provider despite the fact that as many as 30-40% of appointment slots are actually empty or poorly utilized across the health system.

How do we do this? Solving the patient access paradox begins with accurate, reliable, and updated provider data, which we enable for health systems through our comprehensive provider data management platform, KyruusOne. KyruusOne forms the foundation of the ProviderMatch suite of provider smart search and scheduling solutions for access centers, consumers, and referral networks, powering them with reliable, consistent provider data. The Smart Search capabilities within ProviderMatch enable users to identify, match, and book appointments with the providers best-suited to patients clinical needs, while also accounting for a wide variety of non-clinical criteria. The result? More satisfied patients, more fulfilled providers, and higher-performing health systems.

The Client Development Director manages the sales process with prospective and current health system clients within the Northeast. The CDD is responsible for managing and sustaining sales campaigns, working with internal resources to facilitate a successful sale, and generating new leads for the sales pipeline. You will play an integral role in forecasting and reporting on the pipeline, target account identification and competitive intelligence.

In this role you will:
 
  • Lead sales campaigns from qualification through deal closure
  • Achieve sales targets in the Northeast territory
  • Identify and scope opportunities through site visits, market research, and client interactions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with executive leaders at health systems
  • Work cross-functionally with Kyruus teams (Marketing, Management, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Clinical) to develop sales campaigns
  • Quantify financial impact of identified opportunities across multiple patient access channels
  • Identify and qualify new accounts and engagement opportunities
  • Provide leadership with market feedback to advance Kyruus products
 

In return you will bring:

 
  • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise sales or business development with health systems, hospitals, medical practices, or other provider groups, with experience selling into Boston and New York health systems preferred
  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to influence and achieve sales targets
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing sales campaigns
  • Motivated self-starter mentality with a passion for improving healthcare
  • Start-up experience and attitude; Ability to adapt quickly to change and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Quantitative and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites up to 40-50% of time
  • Comfortable being part of a remote sales team
  • Enthusiasm for Kyruus products and company culture

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

Our platform ingests, parses and organizes data from health systems' provider and scheduling data, providing customers with a platform to make finding a doctor and booking an appointment as easy as booking a seat on a flight. Scaling our match capabilities with new sources of data, algorithms and presenting it simply are current areas of focus.

Our vision is to enable patients to get matched to the right provider the first time, in such a way that solves "The Patient Access Paradox", wherein patients are told to wait months for doctors appointments, despite the fact that 20-40% of the capacity in the healthcare system goes under-utilized.

I'm most excited about the potential for chatbots to provide better matching between patients & doctors. With a chatbot, we can provide a rich user interaction that provides a better experience & better match than the existing "search and filter for doctors" paradigm, and also allows for a seamless handoff to a person in a doctor's office if needed
