Sales Operations Specialist, Enterprise, Residential

What you'll do:

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, enterprise & residential, you'll support the sales team by preforming a variety of tasks that involve talking with customers, enabling the sales team to manage and grow accounts while evaluating opportunities to grow the business.

Some of the day-to-day tasks this role entails include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the sales team in managing the inbound sales funnel by vetting leads
  • Manage and close new sales opportunities within the segment(s)
  • Conduct outbound calls/emails to prospects
  • Meet or exceed sales goals set by National Sales Manager
  • Provide product demonstrations and training on Zipcar systems for new accounts
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and other key information on accounts
  • Support accounts with adding new drivers and billing requests as needed
  • Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of account portfolios
  • Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders to manage car sharing programs
  • Assist with compiling and completing proposals and marketing assets

What drives success for this role:

  • 1-3 years of experience in an account management or sales role managing and upselling to small, and medium businesses.
  • Four-year college degree in a related field. (preferred)
  • Proven, verifiable track record with ability to build relationships and farm customers for growth.
  • Driven, ambitious, self-motivated, self-starter.
  • Ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Must be able to multitask and thrive in an active environment
  • Strong writing and excellent communications skills
  • Exhibit patience, empathy, attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues quickly
  • Critical thinking and strategic sales planning
  • Accurately track and report sales activity and performance within Salesforce and other tools.
  • Work independently and as part of an inside/outside team structure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
