Position Summary:
The Partner Enablement Associate will be responsible for supporting and coordinating athena’s partner rep training, incentive, marketing, and enablement programs. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency of our partner channel, and will work closely with other key internal and external stakeholders in the partner ecosystem, including Corporate Development, Sales, Segment Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Events and Solutions.
This is a fast-paced position with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of programs at one time to help meet established partner channel goals. A person with a partner management/lead generation background would be ideally suited for this position.
Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):
50% Optimizing Partner Performance
- Support and maintain partner lead management tools, to improve internal efficiencies and effectiveness, as well as partner experience and results
- Track and evaluate the utilization, effectiveness and business impact of enablement programs
- Liaison for all internal and external partner-related reporting
- Maintain relationships with all necessary third-party vendors
25% Training
- Assist in development and coordination of training programs that use a combination of in-person and virtual methodologies and tools (e.g. instructor-led courses, webinars, sales playbooks)
- Support internal sales-facing trainings on a consistent basis to educate on partnerships, best processes, enhancements or changes to the partner programs
- Ensure that the right enablement programs and deliverables are available to partners in support of each stage in the sales cycle as well as each stage in the partner lifecycle (i.e. onboarding through actively producing)
15% Marketing
- Market athenahealth to partner reps (Examples: email campaigns, direct mail campaigns, collateral, webinars, social media) to drive partner rep engagement and leads
- Coordinate with segment marketing team to ensure that relevant integrated campaigns carry a partner element
- Collaborate with partners’ marketing and solutions teams to incorporate athenahealth into their established prospect-facing campaign programs to increase awareness and lead generation
5% In-Market Events and Partner Commitments
- Support national sales meetings and strategize with partners to create and execute optimal on-site experience
- Identify, determine value and support of partner-run events to coordinate resources, marketing materials and budget
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years of professional experience
- 2 to 3 years of Channel experience in support of a b-to-b offering
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects in a highly virtual and matrixed environment
- Experience managing third-party vendors
- Previous experience working with cross-functional groups and teams to achieve common goals
