National Account Executive, Gilt City

Gilt City is looking for a dynamic National Account Executive who can identify key targets and deliver sales that align with our mission of providing insider access to today’s most coveted brands and businesses. This person will research and identify national brands with e-commerce platforms and apps that would resonate and appeal to our high-end Gilt customers. This person will own a book of business and work with their Sales Director to strategize ways to reach and exceed their sales goals. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of luxury brands and experience selling in the digital space. This person should have professional poise and presence when interfacing with the marketplace; have an inherent creative ability to identity hot new brands and trends and have a passion for winning.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive full cycle sales on a continual basis by bringing in new accounts and maintaining relationships in order to achieve and exceed revenue target
- Interface and communicate effectively with the Account Management team and leadership team
- Execute against targets identified and agreed upon by management on a quarterly basis
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success as a driven sales professional
- 2-3 years full cycle, direct sales experience (conducting research, cold calling, face to face meetings, offer creation, deal execution, negotiation, relationship management, etc.)
- Experience with media sales, digital sales, and advertising sales preferred
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Expert in building and maintaining strategic partnerships
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge and passion for the marketplace
- Ability to work in a start-up environment
