We are seeking an energetic individual to join a high-performing team that finds, educates, and converts leads to pipeline. This position will also directly manage our team of high performing business development representatives. You will report directly to our VP of Marketing and have a real impact on the company by helping the team generate qualified prospects for sales.
Key Activities:
- Manage, mentor and motivate a team of successful business development professionals
- Recruit and develop top talent for the business development team
- Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiencies with processes, tools, company messaging, and employee development
- Develop clear expectations and instill accountability for team members across all aspects of their performance
- Contribute to the sales strategy as it relates to the department as a whole
- Generate dashboards and pipeline reporting tools to present to management
- Take on projects outside of the scope of day to day responsibilities as needed by the sales and marketing departments
Position Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work in rapidly changing startup environment
- High energy, enthusiasm and ambition to grow in your career
- Experience in developing processes, meeting deadlines, paying attention to detail, while remaining organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience cold calling preferred
- Familiarity with Hubspot is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of inside sales experience, 3+ years in a manager role preferred
