The Manager of Corporate Development will lead our inorganic strategy, as a means to accelerate growth and acquire new capabilities. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our business and operations and how to accelerate them. You’ll intimately understand our operations, working side by side with business leaders, product managers, engineers and Company leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a rigorous and comprehensive process to identify and evaluate potential opportunities, which includes a robust idea generation and screening process that will bring quality acquisition and investment ideas to the executive team
• Support all aspects of the deal process, including sourcing, qualification, initial rationale/pitch, financial modeling, deal negotiations, due diligence and closing & integration activities
• Develop a project plan and lead and coordinate a cross-functional deal team
• Conduct and / or lead key qualitative (e.g., inorganic strategy development, competitive landscaping, industry analyses, etc.) and quantitative (e.g., all aspects of financial modeling) analyses in support of deals / deliverables
• Plan, monitor, manage the team to achieve integration goals
• Deliver in-depth understanding of the competitive landscape and new market opportunities
• Develop management reports, board presentations as requested

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital or corporate development in the technology sector
• Proven subject matter expertise in all aspects M&A process including deal structuring, negotiation, integration planning, and execution of deals
• Significant cross-functional project management experience
• Technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers and engineers
• Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics
• Influential and effective communicator and the ability to calibrate style
