Rapid7 is looking to add a Lead Sales Operations Analyst to our growing organization. We are looking for an experienced individual with project management skills and an entrepreneurial attitude to lead sales operations efforts within Rapid7’s global Sales Organization. The position will report to the Director of North America Sales Operations and be involved with providing process improvements and analytical support to the Sales Organization by leveraging SFDC, Tableau and other technologies. The ideal candidate will be driven, courageous, innovative and passionate in helping us to look for new ways to drive growth while keeping the customer at the center.
As the Lead Sales Operations Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and supporting territory management, account intelligence, sales programs and providing analytics on the KPI’s that support our sales organization. Each of these responsibilities is critical to Rapid7's success and involves working closely with key stakeholders within Rapid7 while leading projects. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, IT, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Finance and People Strategy to help the Sales Organization achieve its annual goals. This role requires a mixture of business acumen and technical expertise, executive presence, and the ability to build strong partnerships with business partners. Success in the role will require a self-starter with strong initiative and a passion for collaborating with others to solve problems.
In this role you will:
Collaborate cross-functionally, adding value to the sales organization to increase impact
Drive improvement of business processes, leveraging the SFDC & Tableau platforms to drive growth and scale
Build and create automated, scalable processes to provide the sales organization with proactive analytics on sales performance to drive data-driven decisions
Partner with IT teams to understand new capabilities available in Salesforce & Tableau and train sales representatives to use these capabilities
Assist with key sales planning activities during planning and budgeting cycle including but not limited to managing Rapid7’s sales territory planning process
Ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making
In return you will bring:
4+ years of direct experience in Sales Operations as a Sales, Senior or Lead Sales Operations Analyst, preferably at a high-tech or software company
2+ years of Salesforce.com experience; Salesforce certification, Lightning experience and Salesforce Territory Management experience a plus
Experience with Tableau or NetSuite a plus
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
In-depth understanding of sales processes and systems, i.e. sales cycles, account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management
Experience working in a high-growth, performance and deadline driven environment
Results oriented, attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple objectives and projects
Ability to manage own workload, work efficiently, and meet deadlines
Successful track record of working at all levels of management and sales teams
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written and communication skills required
Good work ethic, desire to learn and be challenged, self-driven and motivated
BA/BS degree in business or related field
