Summary of Position:

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for generating/developing new leads, advancing the sales process, closing new business, and achieving/assisting in the attainment of sales quotas. The Inside Sales Representative will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through phone, email, webinar, research, and events.

To be successful as an Inside Sales Representative you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top Inside Sales Representative should also be very competitive and a good listener.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Making outbound calls to potential customers and following up on marketing generated leads.
  • Understand prospects needs, identify decision makers within targeted leads to identify sales opportunities, convert prospects and close deals to achieve sales quotas
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts into the company CRM
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.

Minimum Requirements

  • University or college degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Two to three years of direct work experience in an inside sales or phone selling capacity.
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
  • Strong problem identification and objections resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibits.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Familiar with Change Management Concepts
  • 1-2 years’ experience with SAP Change Management and Change Management tools
