Mendix seeks a Strategic Alliance Account Executive with the knowledge and experience to join IBM sellers in the field with fortune 1000 organizations across North America. The successful candidate for this strategic role will thrive in a fast paced, results-oriented environment, creatively solve problems, think on his/her feet and be comfortable in new situations working with multiple stakeholders. You will be invited into sales cycles as the Mendix expert. Your existing knowledge of, and experience with technologies to support application development in enterprise organizations like cloud, mobile and middle-ware will allow you to position Mendix for CIOs and business executives of the biggest organizations in the US.
You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by:
- Building relationships and establishing communications with IBM’s sales teams in your region
- Being the go-to person for our IBM sales teams to get help in the field when selling to fortune 1000 customers
- Own the sales cycles and interact with executive levels in customer accounts to understand their needs and position Mendix as the solution
- Manage the pipeline of opportunities in your region
- Work with and leverage the resources inside Mendix like our Solution Architecture and Customer Success teams to win big enterprise deals!
You’re the innovator we need if you have:
- Worked for or with IBM in an enterprise sales capacity
- At least 5 years enterprise sales experience, selling complex enterprise software, with a STRONG preference for Platform sales, into C-level across business & IT
- Proven track record of consistent performance (100+% quota-attainment) in similar role
- Consistent 3+ year performance in-role and promotions within high-caliber employers
- Experience in new/emerging technology markets with exceptional story telling and evangelism skills
- Strong executive presence to represent Mendix and develop deep executive-level relationships in the world's most sophisticated, leading technology companies
- Proven industry sector knowledge of cloud services fundamentals and the PaaS competitive landscape
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
