Job Description:
We are actively recruiting a full-time Head of Markets to lead our Regional Management team. That team is accountable for our long-term market health (density, user engagement) and ongoing Live ARR (annual recurring revenue)—bringing booked deals live, retaining and rapidly growing existing customers. They activate a portfolio of referenceable customers to enable our networks-effects business to increasingly self-propel with the goal of dramatically improving cost and quality in a region.
You will encourage nuance, creativity and rigor in the cross-functionally unifying market game plans that are owned by Regional Managers—your direct reports. This team handles the entire post-sales customer lifecycle and synthesizes the voice of each market within their region. You will be the primary advocate on behalf of all the regions to shape our Growth and Product priorities. This role is also responsible for delivering against the company’s Live ARR targets. You will also enlist the functional subject matter expertise of and the actionable insights generated by our Market, Customer and User Success Teams. This position is based at the company’s Boston headquarters and will report to the Head of Operations.
What Success Looks Like:
In 3 months…
•Set aspirational quarterly Live ARR growth targets across the markets
•Developed nuanced understanding of regional market dynamics
•Attained in-depth knowledge of our business model and Product
•Understood our customer portfolio: how many by segment, who’s growing, why they buy, how we create customer value, and why they renew
•Understood our user base: why they engage with product, how they use the application, care coordination workflows we support, and their usage frequency
•Identified key network-wide and region-specific product gaps blocking network density & engagement opportunities
•Established positive relationships and working rhythm with regional Operations and Growth team members
•Stabilized a rhythm of injecting the “Voice of our Markets” into Product
•Refined staffing model and hiring plan for regional team
•Established strong and collaborative relationships with the Product and Growth leadership team
In 6 months…
•Demonstrated achievement of quarterly Live ARR targets
•Addressed any concerns with key market-level stakeholders (e.g., HA, HIE, State)
•Advocated for and energetically rolled out key product opportunities to increase network density, defensibility and engagement
•Unified a highly collaborative team that feels supported, has clear goals, and is making measurable business impact
•Consistent track record of recruiting exceptional talent
•Outlined clear plan to efficiently scale team with projected growth
•Forged complete alignment on regional priorities with Growth and Product
In 12 months…
•Demonstrated acceleration in Live ARR growth
•Closed majority of market vulnerabilities through increase in customer density, diversity and user engagement
•Recognized as thought partner by high profile customers and partners
•Shown scale across a strong and collaborative team
•Created strong relationships between Regional Management and rest of organization
What You Need:
•BA/BS degree
•Passion for keeping up with the complexities of healthcare, including our healthcare delivery system, regulatory and reimbursement dynamics, and interoperability/healthcare tech trends
•Experience with relevant business models (network effects, enterprise SaaS)
•Strong ability to drive commercial performance through a team (“owning a number”)
•Excitement about bringing structure to ambiguous situations through smart analytical strategic problem solving and process development
