Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with GMA Account Manager, define and deliver customized strategies for working with each individual Grain Marketing Advisor account (GMA) to meet or exceed transaction goals on Indigo Marketplace
  • Partners with the GMA Account Manager to develop and implement customized service plans for each GMA account
  • Immediately after signing on as a partner, GMA sees Account Coordinator as a trusted contact and representative of Indigo
  • Coordinate with other Indigo functions, including but not limited to Logistics, Commercial Settlement, Contract Management, Accounts Payable, Grain Marketing Specialists, and Marketing to execute customized strategies and projects and to manage transactions end-to-end and deliver a positive GMA and GMA grower experience
  • Serve as an expert in the Marketplace App, and conduct trainings with GMA Advisors on a regular basis to ensure they are equipped to enroll their growers in Marketplace and assist them in making Marketplace transactions
  • Interact with GMA leadership and advisors and serve as point of contact for ongoing support with the Marketplace app and grower interaction
  • Coordinate training events and other seminars as needed
  • Create reports to track enrollment and transaction progress by GMA and offer ideas for increasing transaction volume
  • Provide excellent customer service to GMA partners and their affiliated growers
  • Create documentation as needed including grower contracts, amendments, and other enrollment paperwork
  • Work collaboratively and cross-departmentally to identify and develop process improvement and standard operating procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous Customer Service/Account Management Experience
  • Agricultural Experience preferred but not required
  • Understanding of grain marketing is a plus
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, DocuSign is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
