The Sales Development Representative is a critical member of the sales team and an initial step on the path to a sales career at Atlassian. You will develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet monthly revenue goals. You will be responsible for generating new sales by reaching out to decision makers with the goal of setting appointments with our Enterprise Advocates. We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to control their own destiny. We are looking for a self-motivated sales representative to join our established team. You are customer-focused, creative, an effective communicator in both written and verbal forms, and analytical by nature. We want a strong team player who also excels as a high-performing individual contributor.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Lead generation and sales experience through internships or jobs strongly preferred.
- You’re able to commute to our Boston, MA office, full-time.
- Continually innovate and look for ways to improve lead generation and prospecting efforts through email, and calling potential customers.
- Meticulously manage prospect data using our CRM.

The Sales Development Representative team was established in 2015 and we are working from our offices in Austin, Boston, and New York. This product is a modern incident management platform for operating always-on services, empowering Dev & Ops teams to plan for service disruptions and stay in control during incidents. The Sales Development team shares a drive to hit our numbers and ambition to make our new team successful. However, above all, we believe in the Atlassian values and want to use them as our compass in building a successful pipeline for the Enterprise Advocates.
