Job Summary

Summary: The Director of Strategic Accounts (Financial Services) will mentor, manage and lead a world class team of 5 solution selling account executives, who are focused on closing net new and expansion business for strategic accounts in North America. This candidate should have at least 5 years of experience managing a team of account executives and is required to be a problem solver who is delighted to spend time with customers.

 

Responsibilities: 

Nuance is seeking a sales leader that enjoys building relationships with the largest brands in the world, has a passion for customer experience, and who can transform the relationship between people and technology.  The ideal candidate will build and mature pipeline, manage day-to-day business for 5 direct reports and have a passion for representing Nuance.  You will lead a high-caliber team that is experiencing rapid growth as our product portfolio continues to evolve and modernize.  

• Selling Cloud Native Contact Center Solutions: SaaS, ASR, TTS, Fraud and Security Solutions, Proactive Engagement, API’s, Chat Bots, Messaging, Live Chat and Analytics.
• Anticipated Quota: $30M+ for Net New Bookings
• Target markets to focus on: Financial Services

 

Qualifications

Number of Years of Work Experience: 15+, including 5+ years of sales management experience, along with a proven ability to lead diverse teams that have experienced both organic and inorganic growth.

 

Required Skills:

• Experience in prospecting, replacing an incumbent and protecting the installed base.
• Conduct weekly meetings and forecast calls with the ability to provide ongoing mentoring, guidance and career development.
• Strong understanding of how to maintain and evolve both direct and indirect relationships for strategic accounts.
• Ability to manage weekly CRM updates in Salesforce for forecasting. 
• Excel in articulating Nuance’s market leading position on business transformation, design, UX and operational benefits with the F500.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, chatbots, messaging, digital engagement, cloud native, data mining, machine learning, analytics and Conversational AI a must. 
• Communicate effectively in an entrepreneurial environment with CxO’s, IT and Business leaders. 
• Detail oriented, customer focused, and passionate about your team’s success.
• Willingness and the ability to travel.

 

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
