Director, Sales & VIP Operations

We are seeking a Director, Sales & VIP Operations who will oversee and cultivate long-term Customer relationships with DraftKings highly engaged fans. You will be responsible for leading the expansion of DrafKing’s Sales & VIP Operations division to exceed revenue, retention, and acquisition targets while sustaining exceptional levels of Customer focus. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, dependable and able to execute under states of high pressure in an exceedingly fast-paced environment.
As a Director, Sales & VIP Operations with DraftKings, you will utilize your 5+ years of Sales experience and 2+ years of Sales Management experience selling direct to high-end retail Customers to coach, develop, and grow a high-performing inside and outside Sales + Hospitality team.
Responsibilities• Manage performance and productivity objectives of DrafKings’ 3-person High Value Customer Management team to ensure the segment meets and exceeds retention, revenue, and satisfaction goals
• Develop and evolve a system for high-value lead generation and treatment to acquire new High Value Customers through a mix of external prospecting campaigns and development of high potential players within database
• Create and deliver on a Customer experience that will drive high levels of brand advocacy and satisfaction
• Champion adoption and utilization of Salesforce.com platform by team members to strengthen and scale team performance
• Partner with analytics to drive forward DraftKings’ learning agenda and contact triggers; interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports and business insights
• Direct all marketing and support activity through all channels to ensure Customer-appropriate marketing and 1-1 services are delivered for High Value Customers
• Deploy marketing, retention, and hospitality spend into proven treatments, while continuously testing to find new treatments that perform
• Recruit and develop a high-performing team, establishing an incentive program to measure, manage and reward team members
• Establish and hold team members accountable to best-in-class sales routines
• Serve as internal advocate for Customers across DraftKings
Qualifications• 5+ years of relevant experience, with 2+ years of Sales management experience
• Strong sales management and training experience in a B2C environment
• Natural sales skills with proven success exceeding performance targets while creating long-standing Customer relationships
• Track record of managing six figure budget or more
• Experience using Salesforce or an equivalent CRM platform
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with both individuals and groups
• Comfort with travel
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups
• Experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance
• Superior execution skills with a focus on clear, realistic action steps and timelines
• BS Degree in a relevant field
Preferred
• Experience with peer to peer games platforms and economies
• Customer insight and awareness of the DFS player and DK product suite
• Understanding of DFS economy and health drivers
