HubSpot is looking for a Director of Pricing Strategy to set, manage and execute the direction of HubSpot’s product pricing and packaging. The primary objectives of this role are to ensure that HubSpot’s products are effectively priced in the market, analyze qualitative and quantitative results of our current pricing, and ensure that new products are effectively brought to market. The expectation is that this role will require analytical skills, technical aptitude, project management knowhow and strong instincts for customer experience. A great candidate has a deep understanding for how competitive products are priced and HubSpot’s standing in the market. The ideal outcome is an elegant approach to pricing that will help HubSpot scale in the future.

This role will work closely with product and finance teams, as well as have broad, cross functional engagements with every go-to-market function. The role will report to HubSpot’s Chief Strategy Officer.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Drive pricing strategy and implementation across the organization
  • Establish a cadence for analyzing, testing and iterating on pricing of existing products
  • Engage with product to price & package new features and apps.
  • Minimize customer experience friction points created by pricing, packaging and contract terms.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the interplay between SaaS pricing, unit economics, and profitability
  • Experience with financial planning, cohort analysis, and a natural curiosity to explore data. SQL and Looker experience preferred.
  • Technical and operational aptitude. Experience successfully engaging with product and IT on the interplay of technology operational execution.
  • Experience with cross-functional project management. Driving actions and behavior of folks across an organization and team.
  • Experience working in B2B SaaS strongly preferred.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
