Hi. We’re HubSpot.

HubSpot is the world’s leading inbound marketing and sales platform. Over 41,000 customers in more than 90 countries use HubSpot’s software, services, and support to transform the way they attract, engage, and delight customers. A global company with offices in Cambridge, Portsmouth, NH, Dublin, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Berlin and Bogota, HubSpot transforms how organizations market and sell. Through its unique approach to company culture, HubSpot has also redefined how people work and live. Ensuring that our customers and employees are continually growing and learning has helped make HubSpot a Best Place to Work in the eyes of Great Place to Work Ireland, Glassdoor, Fortune, Entrepreneur, Inc., among others. Poised for unprecedented growth, HubSpot is continuing to expand globally, launching a multi-product platform and re-defining how we work with our customers, with the goal of helping them grow better.

Our primary goal is to ensure our customers are happy, and one key way we accomplish this is through our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners. Understanding the importance of these critical relationships, we’re looking for a strategic leader to simultaneously deliver a remarkable experience to our platform partners, and help us grow the platform by working cross-functionally to define and build programs that connect the platform ecosystem to other key orgs in the company.

About the role:

We are seeking a Director of Platform Partner Success to lead HubSpot’s relationships with ecosystem partners who integrate products into our platform. Working closely with the VP, Platform Ecosystem and other Business Development leaders you will use your deep understanding of what platform partners need to ensure their continued happiness and success. You will also use your track record of working cross-functionally to build and implement programs, ideally in a high-growth environment, to scale the Platform Partner program. The primary metrics of success for this role are actively installed partner apps, the business impact delivered to joint customers, and partner happiness (NPS).

Key responsibilities:

  • Champion our platform ecosystem and platform partners internally and externally
  • Run (and eventually build a team for) partner management, leading communication with partners, providing guidance and addressing concerns for their success on our platform
  • Define and manage tiers of partners and the benefits available to them, from early “beta” integrations to our most popular “premier” partners
  • Develop creative ways to deliver program value to our partners, primarily through awareness and distribution that generates leads and customers for partners
  • Grow and manage programs for platform partners to leverage our agency/service partner channel to deliver value to both
  • Collaborate with partner marketing teams on programs and opportunities to promote platform partners and their solutions, as well as our overall platform ecosystem
  • Support the product platform team in identifying and coordinating with beta and launch partners to promote new APIs and platform-related releases
  • Work closely with a counterpart driving ecosystem growth to bring new partners into our ecosystem and make sure their onboarding experience is smooth and rewarding
  • Drive the business architecture for platform partner marketplaces and other mechanisms for streamlining adoption of partner products by customers
  • Contribute to our broader platform ecosystem strategy

The successful candidate will have:

  • Empathy towards platform partners, either as a previous partner, or through partner relationship management
  • Experience in platform-focused product management, business development, or marketing, preferably for a SaaS business
  • Track record of defining, building and implementing successful internal programs
  • Track record of working with cross-functional teams and managing through influence to get things done
  • Experience leading teams and businesses through large-scale change efforts
  • Previous experience at a fast-growth company
  • Bachelor’s degree
