Director, Experience Acquisition
What You’ll Do
As Director of Experience Acquisition at PlacePass, you’ll help expand our network of amazing travel products. You’ll establish, motivate, and grow a dynamic team committed to delivering great travel experiences to customers worldwide. You’ll work closely with senior product, marketing, and technology leaders to ensure that new experiences are successfully brought into the platform. You’ll build and sustain a network of travel technology partners around the world.
You’ll take the lead and help us:
- Establish best practice and repeatable approach for sourcing, onboarding, and supporting new experiences to feature on the PlacePass.com platform, including the development of a robust CRM infrastructure
- Conduct global opportunity assessments to prioritize investment in experience acquisition, and project shifts in demand to anticipate and onboard new types of experiences that will set PlacePass apart from its competitors
- Develop materials to communicate value proposition to experience providers
- Build and manage a top-notch sales team to execute against process
- Liaise with marketing and technology teams to oversee successful integration of new experiences into the platform
- Cultivate relationships with experience providers and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Identify areas to shore up weak supply or remove underperforming supply

Requirements
- Prior experience sourcing and onboarding travel related experiences (e.g., tour operators, concerts / events, hotels) for a leading online organization
- Track record of exceeding business development or sales goals and directly contributing to the growth of an organization
- Deep understanding of experience providers’ business needs
- Knowledge of technical solutions to access experiences
- Exceptional project management, communication, and team leadership skills
- Analytical mindset and entrepreneurial outlook
- Passion for sales
- Strong collaboration capabilities, desire to work in a cross-functional setting
