Job Overview

People in the Director, Business Development role drive new business and business expansion with biopharmaceutical companies and channel partners.  We use the term ‘partnering’ for sales & business development to capture our focus on achieving win-win outcomes with our clients and partners.  The Director builds relationships with prospective clients and closely guides them in their decision making process, moving them through the sales funnel by constantly connecting Human Care Systems (HCS) offerings to their specific needs. An entrepreneurial mindset along with experience in B2B sales and the biopharma industry is ideal. Preferred location is the East Coast.

HCS is the Therapy Experience Management company – we deliver improved access, use, experience and outcomes from medicines.  Our customers are biopharmaceutical companies (large to small) seeking to improve therapy initiation and adherence.  We have about 100 employees and are profitable and growing.

HCS solutions are powered by Resilix™ The Therapy Management Platform – ResilixTM is built specifically to manage the end-to-end patient experience on treatment via omnichannel patient and HCP communications (via digital, case manager, pharmacist, etc). 

ResilixTM offers a new Patient & HCP Relationship Platform for a New Commercial Model - In specialty diseases, each patient has high needs.  The new commercial model recognizes and reaches the individual patient, doctor, and script. Built for flexible integration with 3rd parties (pharmacy, distributor, devices, EMRs, etc.), Resilix™ + services optimize each HCP and patient relationship with personalized and tailored support.

Resilix™ + services deliver:

  • Patient Support Programs. Deliver complete solution to optimize patient use of therapy from Rx through initiation, adherence and outcomes.
  • Patient CRM/Platform. Coordinate and drive all patient touches (contact centers, digital, etc.) to ensure seamless, valuable, compliant patient experiences.
  • Field Force/HCP CRM. Integrate communications from field forces and digital channels to help each clinician and practice best manage each patient through Rx, reimbursement, initiation and adherence.
  • Hub Reimbursement Solution. Ensure optimal reimbursement for each patient and practice via Resilix™ e-Hub (rules, programming, integrations, data & analytics) + partner services. 

HCS was founded in 2008 by Matt Hall and Thom Doyle and is based in Boston.

  • Know your stuff. Engage deeply with what you’re selling and how that fits with the needs of pharmaceutical cos and our channel partners.
  • Spend your time wisely. Work effectively with HCS colleagues to support you to deliver.
