Dealer Relations Account Manager
Car shopping is complicated. At CarGurus, we use data and technology to make it simple, giving people the tools they need to confidently find, buy, finance, or sell a car. The best part? Our work makes a real impact. We’re the most-visited car-shopping site in the US and we are growing fast in our international markets. Ready to come along for the ride?
The Dealer Relations Account Manager will focus on maintaining and expanding CarGurus’ existing customer base in Canada through the analysis of performance data, re-negotiation of subscription rates, prospecting of potential up-sell and cross-sell opportunities, and mitigation of customer churn. Additionally, Dealer Relations Account Managers are responsible for active account management including, but not limited to, addressing and resolving all issues that customers may encounter with their subscriptions. Traveling into the market (Canada) may be required on an ad-hoc basis, for marketing events, and or important client meeting(s). As a seasoned sales professional, it is critical that candidates be persuasive and self-motivated, as they will be expected to manage their own time, set priorities, forecast their pipelines, and meet monthly goals.
CarGurus’ growing customer base will have various concerns and questions about CarGurus, so candidates will need to employ routine customer service skills, be able to listen and respond to dealers, and resolve all issues in a timely manner. In this role, candidates must also be comfortable conveying issues to the larger CarGurus organization. As such, candidates must bring strong analytical thinking, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

So if you think you have what it takes, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch. We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit.
