When it comes to education, we have many resources available to our customer base and prospects. Our Knowledge Base is a resource for how-to questions and technical documentation and MM Academy is a self-service onboarding and training program that is built within an LMS platform (Lessonly). 

About you:

Our Customer Operations Team is looking for a passionate, strategic, and driven Customer Education Manager to take our existing educational resources and experiences to the next level. Reporting to the Director of Customer Operations, this role will focus on increasing customer engagement and education by building on our existing learning platform, MM Academy, our Knowledge Base, and other customer education experiences. The impact this role has will span the company- adding resources to the sales team, reducing onboarding time, reducing time to value for our customers, and driving adoption and customer retention. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Manage our LMS platform and content library- potentially finding a new solution and managing the migration
  • Manage integrations and automations around the educational experience, building out workflows and email campaigns to ensure customers are getting the right information at the right time
  • Drive our education program forward with data-driven decision making 
  • Update documentation and training assets to keep all resources up to date with the latest version of our platform
  • Work cross functionally with department stakeholders to create and deploy new curriculum-based learning programs and other educational resources
  • Assist the technical support team with documentation efforts
  • Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute on customer events 
  • Provide the team with thought leadership around education best practices 
  • Manage educational asset library, ensuring all materials are highly accessible for different abilities, learning styles, languages, etc.  
  • Build and deploy in-product communication as part of larger customer education campaigns 
  • Develop and deploy a variety of user certifications 
  • Film and edit product tutorial video content 
  • Be a Champion of our Core Values


What You’ll Have:

  • Excellent project management skills and a passion for manufacturing and education 
  • Experience building learning programs using an LMS platform 
  • Ability to learn quickly, including technical information pertaining to CNC machines, hardware, etc. 
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills showcased through your customer-first verbal and written communication. You’re able to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms for all stakeholders.
  • A passion for education and thoughtful learning experiences that drive tangible results 
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, which you’ll use to help prioritize multiple initiatives
  • A penchant for the details and creating momentum—with emphasis on execution and results
  • Proactive attitude and ability to independently seek information, solve conceptual problems, align resources, and deliver results in challenging situations
  • Experience with video production including- research and planning, script writing, video production and editing, and incorporation into a larger curriculum, plan, or body of resources
  • Manufacturing experience
  • SaaS experience a plus

  • You'll need a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, passport, ability to travel without restriction, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
