Cloud Partnerships Director (Massachusetts)
As a critical Go To Market leader, you are responsible for managing strategic partnerships within the emerging Cloud Partnerships space, as a key route to market for Rapid7 over the coming years. You will be managing a growth business, with the resources at your disposal to drive the business forward. The Cloud Partnerships Director will enable and nurture our strategic Cloud Partners to drive shared success at a Global level. This person is someone successful at developing strong relationships with partners and alliances using available internal and external resources, in order to maximize revenue opportunities and establish Rapid7 as a strategic long term partner in a competitive landscape.
Who do we need?
Senior experience in partner account managers who understand the complexity of Cloud Partners and how to execute at the leadership and field levels
Existing or leverageable relationships with AWS. Relationships with more traditional channel partners to maximize the ecosystem is a plus.
You're confident managing partners' sales pipelines, associated services business and marketing initiatives
A collaborative team player who can confidently partner with an internal set of multi-functional teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations to ensure targets are achieved and exceeded
Someone who balances patience with inherent urgency to drive a long-term scalable approach -- and understands the only way to do this is through deep trust and teaming across Rapid7 and our Partners.
In this role you will:
Lead and manage our Cloud Partnerships program, Globally.
Communicate regularly with C-Level and Sr. Leadership at Rapid7 to raise understanding and gain alignment needed to make these partnerships a huge success.
Lead regular business planning efforts to align Partner and Rapid7 go-to-market engagement from the top down, throughout Rapid7 and our Partners organizations.
Develop and Enable the right teams within our Partners organizations to drive the outcomes we’ve identified as most critical to long term shared success.
Develop and Execute strategic collaboration agreements to drive investment in places that will lead to durable growth for both parties.
Grow and develop your team over time, to transform their careers, and your own, while also transforming the Rapid7 Go to Market motion.
The ideal candidate will bring:
7+ years of strategic partner management experience, with a proven track record in exceeding quotas and targets.
Ability to work at all levels of partner organizations and the internal organization, with clear communication and a commitment to teamwork.
Knowledge and experience of how to best work with Cloud Partnerships to drive specific outcomes.
Ability to present value and gain commitment from decision makers across sales, internal and partner teams.
Strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of the Cloud Partner sales model, and existing relationships that accelerate progress.
Comfortable presenting effectively and persuasively in front of both technical and non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of the security industry and competitors is a plus, as well as a deep overall intellectual curiosity to learn about whatever the future may bring you.
