Job Description

Buoy is taking on the multi-faceted challenge of applying Artificial Intelligence to medicine and developing novel interfaces and algorithms to reason about the relationship between humans, symptoms, and illnesses. In the role of Advertising Sales Associate you will be responsible for generating sales revenue from new advertising clients as well as renewing and expanding sales from existing clients. Clients may include advertising agencies, advertising networks, and/or direct advertisers such as hospitals, health systems, health insurance companies (payers), pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies or other companies seeking to reach a highly targeted and engaged healthcare audience.

Additionally, this role will develop new leads for Buoy Health for core products and services across these same vertical customers.

In a typical week, you may:

· Execute outreach (prospecting) campaigns via email, phone, networking, and/or social channels to generate new opportunities for Buoy Health’s advertising solutions

· Develop advertising strategies and design and deliver campaign proposals that tightly align to client goals and differentiate the Buoy audience from competitors

· Identify and secure RFP (request for proposal) opportunities and develop RFP responses

· Develop supportive advertising strategies to accompany Buoy Health core product proposals

· Conduct scheduled performance discussions with advertising clients and demonstrate and ensure client endorsement of the value of Buoy Health advertising solutions

Minimum Qualifications

· Four (4) year bachelors or equivalent college/university degree

· 2+ years demonstrated success in digital advertising sales and planning including proposal development and RFP responses

· Success in prospecting and cold calling new advertising clients

· Demonstrated expertise in advertising networks, programmatic buying, pay per click, rich media, ad tagging and performance tracking strategies and technologies

· Ability to effectively prioritize work, identify and solve problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

· 2+ year demonstrated success in healthcare digital advertising/media sales and planning

· Experience in developing and delivering integrated digital advertising and sponsorship/licensing solutions using a consultative selling approach
