Devo Technology is searching for a passionate and eager to learn individual to join the newly formed Account Executive organization at Devo. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building our new Commercial business market segment, targeting high growth and maturing organizations ready to make the move to a leading, cloud-native SIEM and log management solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the generation of net new business opportunities and pipeline, leveraging inbound marketing leads and running your own outbound prospecting
    • Use in-house sales tools, including Zoominfo, Cognism, Sales Navigator, and HubSpot Sales Pro to successfully generate new leads and meetings to fuel your pipeline
  • Meet and/or exceed your quota by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
  • Creatively source new prospects and position Devo’s value proposition through campaign development and testing
  • Work cross functionally across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Partners, and Sales Engineering to execute Sales Strategy as the company introduces enhancements to solutions or new products
  • Partner with Channel Partner team members to incorporate managed service partners into selling cycles
  • Accurately enter, update, maintain daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information in SFDC
  • Work with and develop BDRs who partner with you to also develop pipeline
  • Create demand by uncovering business problems and matching them to our solutions
  • Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle

Characteristics and Skills:

  • 2+ years of sales experience as a proven full sales cycle hunter and closer
  • Track record of success driving revenue through prospecting and creating new business
  • Ability to work well under pressure and independently
  • Ability to adapt quickly to ever changing business priorities and industry
  • Have exceptional consultative skills
  • Have a growth first mindset that is highly coachable
  • Experience selling on value and ROI vs features and functionality
