Job Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, motivated Account Executive to represent Intralinks in our Alternative Investments market segment. You will work with customers to professionalize their fund raising and investor reporting processes with Intralinks for Investor Relations.

Intralinks provides best in class solutions for the Alternative Investments, including fund marketing, fund raising and investor reporting. Our solutions are the most trusted with 1 dollar raised on Intralinks out of every 2 dollars raised globally

In this role, you will develop and build relationships with key contacts across Alternative Investments firms to position Intralinks as the ultimate solution for investor relations. You will have an account portfolio of existing clients and prospects in Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Italy. You will focus on growing our footprint within this client base.

About the Team

The Intralinks EMEA Sales Team has offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Zurich, Madrid, Milan and Dubai. The EMEA Alternative Investments sales team is currently based in London and Paris. This new role is based in Zurich (preferably) or Paris.

Account Executives benefit from an experienced management team, excellent onboarding and continued training, as well as opportunities to develop as a sales professional.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage prospecting campaigns to develop new business.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
  • Establish a strong and consistent cadence of in-person meetings and organising/attending networking events.
  • Present Intralinks’ business solutions using appropriate sales approaches and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations and efforts.
  • Work with senior management and corporate counsel, negotiate contracts and provide all follow-up to deliver signed contracts.
  • Maintain strong sales pipeline and forecast to increase visibility of short- and long-term prospects through our CRM system salesforce.com
  • Meet agreed monthly/annual performance in both client activity (meetings/demos etc.), market knowledge development and quota achievement.

Qualifications

  • Full Professional Proficiency in English
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in software or technology sales or 3-5 years of relevant financial services industry experience, ideally within Alternative Investments.
  • Excellent verbal and written (including presentations) communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly to groups.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (if based in Zurich) or 60% (if based in Paris)

Desired Qualifications

  • Full Professional Proficiency in Spanish or Italian
  • Consistently exceeds monthly and annual quota.
  • SaaS software solution sales preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investments and broader financial services industry.
  • Network of contacts in Private Equity and/or Investment Banking.
