Account Executive, Higher Education & Athletics (Mid-Market)

In this role, you will be responsible for closing new accounts across higher education institutions, with a focus on collegiate athletic departments. This individual will be responsible for leading deals from start to finish through a mixture of inbound and outbound generated leads.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead 3-12 month sales cycles from discovery through to close, navigating stakeholders across a range of departments
- Leverage your existing network and foster new relationships to build new pipeline across the Higher Ed & Athletics space
- Collaborate with other WHOOP teams to construct compelling deal proposals that position clients and WHOOP up for long-term success
- Represent WHOOP’s Athletics business at key events & conferences
- Work closely with Customer Success, Sales Ops and Enterprise Marketing to continually iterate and improve upon processes to build a repeatable sales playbook
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of full cycle SaaS closing experience
- Passionate about selling into collegiate athletics
- Closing experience at early stage SaaS company (
