Listed below is an overview of general responsibilities the Robotics and AI Engineering Intern/Co-Op may have: 


  • Active involvement in development for a vision-based robotic systems 
  • Write robotics software, develop navigation and machine learning algorithms.
  • Design and evaluate AI technologies for use in mobile robotics.
  • Develop developer tools to collect robot data for analysis and training ML models. 
  • Document and test your code; comply with company standards 


Requirements


  • Robotics, Computer Vision, ML/AI course work and/or demonstrable experience in those topics
  • Strong programming experience in modern C++ and/or Python 
  • Experience with Linux and open-source development tools
  • Troubleshooting experience
  • Currently working towards a BS or greater in Computer Science or Engineering or a related subject is preferred
  • Successful applicants will be asked to show proof that they can legally work in the U.S.
