About Kilo: We're building the fastest-evolving open-source AI coding agent to make programming accessible to billions. In just a few months: #1 AI coding tool on OpenRouter, over 500K+ downloads, countless 5-star reviews, multiple Hacker News front page articles. But we're just getting started.
Kilo Code is more than just another coding tool. We're creating a superset of the best features from existing AI coding agents, combined with our own innovations, all built with community feedback at the core.
The situation: We’re an open source AI coding tool taking on Cursor, Windsurf, and the rest. We recently launched Teams and Enterprise. Today we manage our sales opportunities in a spreadsheet, emails live in multiple systems, and Contact Sales requests come in via Typeform. Your job: build the foundation of our revenue operations function by supporting both sales and marketing.
You are:
A builder: Extremely scrappy, can do some damage with SQL, Python, and APIs
Someone who ships on day one, fixes on day two, scales on day three
Able to stitch together HubSpot workflows with duct tape, then make them solid
Obsessed with using AI to solve redundant operational challenges
Kind, direct, honest, and allergic to corporate theatre
Week 1 you will:
Stand up HubSpot basics: forms, sequences, deal pipeline
Connect HubSpot to Customer.io
Ship first opps reporting (good enough > perfect)
Month 1 you will:
Build the MVP outbound process (emphasis on minimum)
Run 5–10 experiments in capture, routing, reporting
Kill what fails, double down on what works
Deliver first real dashboards: usage → pipeline → revenue
Month 3 you will:
Own all revenue reporting across Teams & Enterprise
Have HubSpot fully operational, integrations humming, no lost leads
Define outbound → opp workflow for our AE
Show pricing, conversion, and funnel insights with data
Be the person we trust to say “this is repeatable”
The work setup:
Remote. Hackathon-style onsites in Amsterdam every 2–3 months. SF office available.
You’ll work across founders, sales, marketing. Product changes weekly. Your systems must keep up.
We thank people publicly, give feedback directly, and own our mistakes.
Anti-requirements:
Salesforce or Google Analytics certified
Campaign ops only (UTMs + emails all day)
Spreadsheet wizard
Comfort with slow
