Position Summary

The Regional Operations Manager, Employee Benefits, is responsible for overseeing operational processes and ensuring service excellence within the Employee Benefits segment for a defined region. This role focuses on implementing best practices, maintaining compliance, and supporting regional leadership in achieving operational goals. The incumbent applies advanced knowledge of insurance brokerage operations and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and consistency across the region.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage day-to-day operational activities for Employee Benefits within the region, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy, productivity, and client experience.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards; assist in risk mitigation efforts.
  • Support optimization of agency management systems and other operational tools; provide feedback for enhancements.
  • Track KPIs and prepare reports on operational performance for regional leadership; recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Partner with account management teams, regional leaders, and national operations to align initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to regional staff on operational policies, procedures, and system usage.
  • Assist in regional integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational changes.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify operational trends.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management platforms.
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred.
  • 4–6 years in insurance brokerage operations, with demonstrated expertise in Employee Benefits workflows.
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits processes, compliance requirements, and agency management systems.

Starting pay is $110,000+ annually. Salary is negotiable upon time of hire.
