The Quality Technician will be responsible for:
- Supporting the overall day to day operations of the R&D Part Farm - Print, Debind, Sinter
- Supporting Quality Engineer with the implementation of best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation/waste and provide for continuous improvements
- Assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions of internal quality issues
- Playing a supporting role in development and implementation of pilot operations control plans
- Executing incoming, in-process and outgoing quality inspections to support Part Farm workflow
- Assisting in the documentation of procedures for assembly and inspections
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of applicable Quality Technician experience in related field
- Experience with various Six Sigma data analysis tools
- Applicable experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
- Knowledge of various metrology and measurement techniques
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices
- Ability to interpret design documentation (schematics, drawings, etc.).
- Ability to resolve issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Experiences:
- Additive manufacturing
- 3D printing
- Knowledge of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Knowledge of TS16949
- 5S Operations
- Software - ERP, Trello, Jira, PLM
