The Technology Implementation Lead delivers new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The Technology Implementation Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Technology Implementation Lead gathers and documents business system and functional requirements, influences system design to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

               

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
  • Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
  • Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts
  • Hands on experience with Web Services (REST / SOAP)  design & implementation
  • Must be familiar with exposing API / Services using Data power or API connect
  • Experience in design , development & troubleshooting in one of the following technology stack is highly desired - IBM Business Process Management or IBM Integration Bus
  • Must have working experience with Server runtime (WebSphere/ tomcat), deploying applications and troubleshooting for failures as needed
  • Should be able to complete code reviews and guide the development team in development activities
  • Expertise in Messaging integration
  • Experience with onsite /offshore development model is required
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
  • Knowledge in Relational Database Design & normalization techniques
  • Ability to write SQL queries & stored procedures is preferred
  • Knowledge in Agile methodologies / frameworks
  • Should be able to write technical User Stories based on project implementation
  • Expertise in coordination with Business & IT Stakeholder for gathering requirement / driving implementation and delivering solutions with quality is preferred.
  • Familiarity with load test / functional testing frameworks and working experience in the following tools - SOAP UI / RFH Util / MQ Explorer / SQL Server Management Studio / Eclipse is preferred
  • Must have solid understanding and working knowledge in non-functional areas like – Logging / Auditing / Error-Handling  frameworks
  • Ability to analyze logs / events using any tool like Splunk / BAM
